This year, students in the Gilbert Schools put their creativity to work and competed in the annual Peachy Art Contest. Art Students are asked to create peach-themed art each May and compete within her grade levels for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize. The Peachy Art Contest is sponsored by Michelin. Junior Division Pageant Winners | 2014
Pageants for this year's Lexington County Peach Festival were held on June 28 at Gilbert Primary School cafetorium. Junior Division competition included Miss Wee Peach, ages 5 to 6 years; Miss Little Peach, ages 7 to 9 years; Miss Petite Peach, ages 10 to 12 Years; Miss Young Peach, ages 13 to 14 years; and Miss Teen Peach, ages 15 to 16 years.
