This April, students at local Gilbert Schools competed in the Lexington County Peach Festival’s annual Peach Art Contest. Sponsored by Michelin and led by our favorite Gilbert art teachers, this contest challenged the students’ creativity to showcase the peach.

Michelin representative Mike Williams, along with representatives of the Peach Festival, visited the four Gilbert Schools in May to present contest awards. Contest winners will have their art displayed in the lobby of Gilbert Primary School on June 15 in conjunction with the Miss Lexington County Peach Pageants and Peach Dessert Contest. The winning art will also be display on July 4 at the Peach Festival.
