Art & Craft Vendor Participants
March 17, 2010 8:18 PM
If you are interested in becoming a vendor for the 2010 Peach Festival, please read our guidelines below. After reading, please download and submit your vendor application and payment via USPS no later than June 18, 2010.
We will not allow the sale of any items pertaining to alcohol, drugs, or sex; no food or drink items; no silly string. These rules are strictly enforced and if broken, you will be asked to leave.
Please Note: Food vendors are not permitted to operate during the Peach Festival.
- 20 spaces are available for day and night;
these will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. - 36 spaces are available with NO POWER, first-come, first-serve basis.
- The deadline for reserving a space is June 18, 2010;
no applications will be accepted after this date. - No refunds will be given.
- We have no power outlets for air-conditioning
Our vendor booths are a standard 12' x 12' at a cost of $55 per space. An adjoining area may be purchased for an additional $50. The rental fee also includes the cost of a required town business license to sell merchandise during the festival. Some spaces have an electrical outlet; those spaces are made available on a first-come, first serve basis. Electrical outlets are 115 volts and will not support air-conditioning. If you plan to be a vendor, you must furnish your own tables, chairs, tents, etc.
Spaces on the side of the street with an electrical outlet have room for one vehicle to park behind your assigned area. All other vendors will be given a parking permit that will allow you to park for free at the festival, however; there is limited parking in the vending area. Vendors will be allowed to park temporarily to unpack and set up their booth. Vendors must then move their vehicle to a designated parking area.
Upon receipt of your application and vendor fee, you will be assigned a space and the number for that space will be sent to you. The vendor booths line the street that runs through the center of the Gilbert Community Park; therefore, vendors are located in our most heavily-visited area.
